“When you become a new business owner, you can do as much research and write the best business plan in the world. But once you get into the real world, in the process of starting a business, you're just going to hit road bumps that you don't even know are going to exist.”
We are honoured to have with us Jennifer Carnahan, Founder and General Manager at Primrose Park in the newest episode of The Shape of Work podcast. Join us to hear what she has to say about the idea behind starting Primrose and inclusivity in the organisation.
Jennifer did her undergraduate from Syracuse, New York. And then, she spent the first five years of her career working in sports marketing for Major League Baseball teams, the Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and then an NBA team, the Minnesota Timberwolves. And then got her MBA from the University of Minnesota and worked for some of the top global consumer giants like McDonald's Corporation, General Mills, Swarovski, and also a B2B company called Ecolab. She later founded her first business, a retail store, Primrose Park. And within the first couple years of doing that, she had opened three new businesses, and started building a mini retail empire.
